FAQ’s Heart for Haiti addresses the need for sustainable, self-sufficient living in disaster stricken communities. By building back the morale and dignity of the Haitian people and mentoring their artisan community, AGF is looking to invest in long-term.

When will Heart for Haiti happen? We are committed to donating $25,000 to Haitian communities, A Global Friendship will sell Haitian finished, designer T-shirts in U.S. Boutiques and online. Through vigorous fundraising and PR efforts we will have a finished product ready for distribution by January 10th, 2011. Why a campaign about clean water and artisans? Clean water: Disaster stricken Haitian communities need vital resources like water. So AGF has made it a main focus of our program. We are sponsoring the Unshaken project through charity: water to effectively donate 50% of the proceeds from Heart for Haiti to ongoing clean water projects. Our immediate goal is to employ 25+ Haitian artisans, having them hand-finish a unique designer T- Shirt. Our long-term vision is to cultivate an artisan community in Haiti for Project HOME.
