Darya B. Nachinkina

Darya Nachinkina was born and raised in Russia at the time of a socio-economic transition that plunged large segments of the country’s population into poverty. Observing these major economic changes, Darya developed a strong interest in economic development, small business growth, and entrepreneur sustainability. Ms. Nachinkina originally pursued these interests as a student of international relations and global development at Harvard University (BA) and Princeton University (Master of Public Affairs).

Over the past five years, Darya has worked for the World Bank and in management consulting, servicing a range of clients from Fortune 500 companies to small startups. Most recently, Ms. Nachinkina’s work has focused exclusively on the non-profit sector where she has provided consulting advice to philanthropic organizations and social enterprises looking for ways to support entrepreneurship and small business growth as a way to jumpstart local economies and drive job creation. She has started her own charity focused on providing developmental and educational supplies for orphans in Russia.

Darya is excited to be joining A Global Friendship’s Board of Directors and is looking forward to watching the organization grow.
